Small Footprint Case Erector
14 Cases per Minute
42” x 70”Footprint
Changed-Over in Under 1 Minute
The 720 Series is the smallest fully automatic case
erector available delivering up to 14 erected
and bottom taped cases per minute. Reliably consistent case erection is
delivered through
two unique design features:
Minor case panel secured in the erection process (not the major panel as is
mostly
typical), in so doing the case is levered open using the
longest panel (not the smallest).
Positive gripping side belts through the formation process allow for some
variation in the case’s glue joint placement, where other case erectors
using fixed side guides do not.
SEQUENCE OF OPERATION
The bottom case blank from the magazine is secured on the minor panel and
erected as it is
rotated into position. The erected case arrives within side drive belts which
actuate open to
receive it. Bottom minor flaps are positively moved to close position once side
belts close
to secure the case on its width dimension. Bottom major flaps are ploughed
to their closed
position as the case is advanced by side belts. The fully erected and
bottom closed case is
driven across the tape head and discharged.
